Why am I prompted to purchase a journal article, book or video?
Answer
SUSS students, faculty and staff can access the subscribed resources upon signing in with their SUSS username and password. You should not have to pay a fee to access a subscribed article, book or video.
- For a complete list of subscribed databases, go to Databases.
- For a complete list of subscribed video databases, go to the eVideos Collection.
- To find out if we subscribe to a specific journal, enter the title of the journal in the search box on the Journals page.
If you are asked to purchase a journal resource, it is likely that:
- The resource is not included in the library's subscription or
- The resource is very recent and is embargoed by the vendor.
For articles and book chapters not found within SUSS Library's collection, you can make a Document Delivery Request for these. Please click here to find out more about this service and how to make a request.
