How do I compile and curate thematic resources in ICON?
Answer
Collections are ways of collating and curating information that bring it together under a theme. They can be any public item from across Figshare repositories.
To create a collection, go to the Collections tab,
- Click on Create a new collection.
- Complete the metadata fields as descriptively as possible.
- Public items can be added by clicking on collect +
- Once you are ready to publish, select the Manage gear wheel on the right side of the screen and selecting Publish collection.
- To edit the collection, a new version of the collection needs to be generated.
Please note that there is only one owner/editor to manage the collection.
