How do I compile and curate thematic resources in ICON?

Collections are ways of collating and curating information that bring it together under a theme. They can be any public item from across Figshare repositories.

To create a collection, go to the Collections tab, 

  1. Click on Create a new collection.

  1. Complete the metadata fields as descriptively as possible.
  2. Public items can be added by clicking on collect +
  3. Once you are ready to publish, select the Manage gear wheel on the right side of the screen and selecting Publish collection.

  1. To edit the collection, a new version of the collection needs to be generated.

Please note that there is only one owner/editor to manage the collection.
